Mumbai local train passengers should plan their travel carefully on Sunday, June 7, 2026, as Western Railway will conduct a five-hour jumbo block for important maintenance work. Where will the Jumbo Block Take Place?
The Mumbai Division of Western Railway announced on X that the jumbo block will take place between Churchgate and Mumbai Central on both the UP and DOWN Slow Local lines. The block will remain in effect from 10:35 a.m. to 3:35 p.m.
According to the Divisional Railway Manager of Mumbai Division, the maintenance work is necessary to ensure safer, more reliable, and smoother train operations for daily commuters. During the maintenance period, several changes will be made to train operations. Slow line local trains will run on the fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central.
