Heat Wave in Tamil Nadu
People across the state are already struggling with intense summer heat. The temperature is especially extreme between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., making it difficult for people to go outside. Tamil Nadu Rain Alert
The weather department explained that a low-pressure area currently stretches from North Madhya Pradesh to South Tamil Nadu, passing through regions like Vidarbha, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Interior Karnataka. Moreover, Tamil Nadu recorded up to 20 mm of rain in some places over the past 24 hours, including Kanyakumari district, Adyamadai, and Ayikudi in Tenkasi.
