South Central Railway has announced several special train services connecting important destinations across the southern, central, and eastern parts of India to handle the heavy passenger rush. These trains are being introduced to provide extra travel options and reduce overcrowding during peak travel time.

List of Summer Special Trains
• Train No. 07687 running between Tirupati and Kharagpur will operate on April 22. It will depart at 5:20 AM and reach Kharagpur at 12 noon the next day. Another train, No. 07691 from Machilipatnam to Kharagpur, will run on April 24, leaving at 12 noon and arriving at 11 AM the following day. Its return service, Train No. 07692, is scheduled to run on April 25.
• There are also special trains planned between Charlapalli and Kharagpur. Train No. 07688 will run on April 23, Train No. 07693 on April 26, and Train No. 07694 on April 27. In addition, Train No. 07699 will operate between Charlapalli and Santragachi on April 25, while Train No. 07700 will run in the return direction on April 26.
• Another special service, Train No. 07701, will run from H.S. Nanded to Asansol on April 21. Its return journey, Train No. 07702, will take place on April 23.
• Moreover, Train No. 06001 will run from Chennai Egmore to Santragachi on April 19, and Train No. 06002 will run from Santragachi to Chennai Beach on April 20.
These special trains will stop at major stations such as Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Vizianagaram, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Kharagpur. This will improve connectivity and make travel easier for passengers during the busy summer period.
