The Ministry of Railways has decided to make four special trains running from Kakinada City to different destinations a regular part of the timetable. These trains connect Kakinada with destinations like Mysore, Lingampalli, Hisar, and Rajahmundry. Earlier, these services were operated as special trains, but now they will run daily

for the convenience of passengers.
Four Special Trains to Become Regular Services
In a letter dated March 25, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed Kakinada MP Tangella Uday Srinivas about this decision. He confirmed that all four trains will now be regular daily services instead of temporary or special ones. This move is expected to improve connectivity and make travel easier for people in the region. The trains have also been given new names as part of the change, known as Lingampalli Special Express, Hisar Express, Mysore Express, and Kakinada Port-Rajahmundry MEMU Express. These names reflect their routes and type of service.
Regularization of Services from April
According to an official statement shared by MP Uday Srinivas, the newly regularised train services are likely to start operating from April. Once they begin running daily, passengers will have more reliable travel options without having to depend on limited or irregular special train schedules. This step by the Railways is seen as a positive development for commuters, as it ensures better frequency and convenience. Regular services also help in planning journeys more easily, especially for those who travel frequently for work, education, or personal reasons.
Moreover, converting these four trains into daily services will strengthen railway connectivity from Kakinada and benefit a large number of passengers traveling to different parts of the country.
