Good news for people traveling between Jaipur and Ajmer or making plans to spend summer vacations in Rajasthan. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has some exciting plans in the works to make your commute a whole lot easier. They're getting ready to build three new highways and four flyovers by the end of April. These upgrades are meant to make traveling between Jaipur and Ajmer smoother and more convenient for everyone.

NHAI officials spilled the beans (according to TOI) on what's happening along the Jaipur-Kishangarh part of the Ajmer Expressway. They're putting the finishing touches on four flyovers, and they should be ready for you to use by June. Ajay Arya, project director of NHAI is feeling pretty hopeful about completing work on three flyovers at Bandersindhri, Mahla, and Sawarda crossings. He thinks they'll be good to go by the end of April, which is good news for road trip lovers.
Mr. Arya also mentioned that they're making quick progress on five more flyovers at Bagru, Narsinghpura, Gadota, Mokahpura, and Padasoli. They're working hard to finish them up, aiming for late June to mid-July for them to be up and running.
They're paying extra attention to finishing up the Ajmer-bound side of the Kamla Nehru Nagar crossing flyover. This shows that NHAI really cares about making it easier for people to get around and spend less time on the road.
Once all nine flyovers are open, you can expect your travel time between Ajmer and Jaipur to drop significantly. It's predicted that it'll only take about two hours to get from the 200-feet Bypass Crossing to Ajmer. That's a big improvement and will make things much more convenient for travelers.
NHAI's big plans show they're serious about making transportation better and connecting different places in the region. As these projects get closer to being finished, you can start looking forward to smoother and faster trips along the Jaipur-Ajmer road.
