What Residents Should Expect

Most outages in Delhi are expected to last around 3 to 4 hours, depending on the specific maintenance work in each area. Since this is a planned shutdown, the electricity supply is likely to be restored within the scheduled window, unless there are technical delays.

Given the warm weather conditions in Delhi, the power cuts during late morning and afternoon hours may cause inconvenience, especially for households, offices, and small businesses operating in the affected regions.

Advisory for Residents

  • Charge mobile phones, laptops, and essential devices in advance
  • Keep backup lighting options such as power banks or inverters ready
  • Plan work schedules to avoid disruption during outage hours
  • Businesses in industrial areas should adjust operations accordingly

Overall, while the temporary outages may disrupt routine activities for a few hours, they are part of essential maintenance work aimed at improving electricity reliability across Delhi.
