Bengaluru is currently experiencing higher-than-usual temperatures for this time of year. The maximum temperature recently reached around 35.2°C, about 2°C above normal. Other areas, including HAL airport and Kempegowda International Airport, also recorded similar temperatures, showing a clear rise in heat across the region.

Reason Behind this Temperature Surge
The main reason for this increase in temperature is the presence of westerly winds, which are preventing cloud formation and rainfall, but causing low temperatures. As a result, the city has experienced warmer and drier conditions over the past few days.
Bengaluru Rain Alert
However, this hot weather is not expected to last for long. Weather experts have predicted a change starting from April 11. A new weather system is likely to develop, with rain and increased cloud cover in Bengaluru, providing relief from the rising temperatures. The expected rainfall may also help bring temperatures down to normal levels. Along with rain, there could be cloudy skies and possibly thunderstorms in some areas of Benga. This shift in weather conditions is linked to changes in wind patterns and atmospheric activity over the region.
Residents should be cautious about the weather conditions and regularly check for updates to avoid any inconvenience. Moreover, they should also plan their day accordingly after checking the weather alerts.
