Central Railway has decided to continue running several Bengaluru special trains to meet the increased passenger demand during the summer vacation, connecting parts of North Karnataka, including Kalaburagi and Bidar.

Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Weekly Special Train
According to officials from the Solapur Division, the Bengaluru Cantonment-Kalaburagi weekly special trains will now run until the end of April. Train number 06207 will operate from Bengaluru Cantonment to Kalaburagi every Saturday until April 25. The return train, number 06208, will run every Sunday till April 26. With this extension, three extra trips will be added in each direction.
Bengaluru-Bidar Special Train
Similarly, special trains between SMVT Bengaluru and Bidar have also been extended. Train number 06539 will run from SMVT Bengaluru to Bidar every Friday and Sunday till April 26. The return train, number 06540, will operate from Bidar to SMVT Bengaluru every Saturday and Monday till April 27. This will allow six additional trips in both directions.
Pandharpur and Tirupati Special Train
Moreover, the weekly special train services between Pandharpur and Tirupati have also been extended. Train number 07012 from Tirupati to Pandharpur will run on Saturdays, while train number 07032 from Pandharpur to Tirupati will run on Sundays, adding one extra trip each way.
Railway officials have confirmed that there will be no changes in the train routes, stops, or coach arrangements. Passengers can book tickets for these extended services through reservation centres or online via IRCTC, and they need to check the timings. Unreserved tickets are available at station counters and on the RailOne app.
