Once approved, they can use human-free immigration clearance at specific airports, significantly reducing their waiting time.
How to Apply for FTI-TTP
Applying for the Trusted Traveller Programme is simple. Here's how you can do it:
First, you need to fill out an application form online. Make sure to provide accurate personal details. Your passport must be valid for at least six months when you apply. You will also need to upload some documents, including a recent passport-sized photograph, a scanned copy of your passport (the front page and the last page showing family details), and proof of your current address.
After your application is verified and found eligible, you will receive a message to schedule an appointment for your biometric enrollment. You can complete this at any designated international airport in India or at the nearest Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).
There is a non-refundable processing fee to be paid during this process. For adults, the fee is ₹2,000, for minors it is ₹1,000, and for OCI cardholders, it is $100.
