The Ratlam Division of Western Railway has announced changes to train services between June 9 and June 11 due to Phase-2 yard remodeling work at Laxmibai Nagar station on the Indore-Dewas-Ujjain railway section.
List of Trains to be Affected
According to Public Relations Officer Mukesh Kumar, four passenger trains will be completely cancelled on June 11. These include train numbers 69211 and 69213 running from Ujjain to Indore, and train numbers 69212 and 69214 operating from Indore to Ujjain.
Partial Cancellation of Trains
Moreover, eight trains will be partially cancelled on the same day. Four DEMU trains running between Ratlam and Dr Ambedkar Nagar will terminate at Laxmibai Nagar instead of completing their full journey. Therefore, services between Laxmibai Nagar and Dr Ambedkar Nagar will remain cancelled for these trains.
Several trains will also operate on diverted routes during the remodeling work. On June 9, train number 20497, the Rameswaram-Firozpur Cantt Humsafar Express, will travel through Maksi, Ujjain, Fatehabad, and Ratlam, skipping Dewas and Laxmibai Nagar.
On June 10, train number 21126, the Bhind-Ratlam Express, will run through Ujjain, Fatehabad, and Ratlam, bypassing Indore and Dewas. However, train number 14116, the Prayagraj-Dr Ambedkar Nagar Express, will operate via Ujjain, Dewas, Laxmibai Nagar, and Indore.
On June 11, train number 11125, the Ratlam-Gwalior Express, will run through Fatehabad and Ujjain instead of passing through Indore and Dewas.
Some important trains, including train numbers 20911 (Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express) and 20912 (Nagpur-Indore Vande Bharat Express), will also be diverted through the Indore-Laxmibai Nagar-Dewas-Ujjain route or the reverse route.
Additionally, several trains such as the Dr Ambedkar Nagar-Prayagraj Express (14115), Indore-Jodhpur Express (14802), Jodhpur-Indore Express (14801), and Dr Ambedkar Nagar-Patna Special (09343) will not stop at Fatehabad station during this period.
Passengers are advised to check their train schedules before travelling and plan their journeys accordingly.
