Noida International Airport is set to become a major gateway in Indian aviation as it prepares for its grand opening on April 17, 2025. With international routes to Zurich, Singapore, and Dubai, operated by Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines, the airport will bring the world closer to India. Alongside these new global connections, 25 domestic routes will link major cities across the country, establishing Noida as a vital travel hub. This exciting development marks a new era of connectivity for travelers in India, offering a wide range of options and improving access to key destinations.

Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines are set to launch international flights from Noida International Airport on April 17, 2025, offering passengers exciting new options to travel to Zurich, Singapore, and Dubai. This launch marks a major step as Noida International Airport opens with both domestic and international services. While the International Air Transport Association (IATA) has granted preliminary approval for these flights, the central government's final clearance is still awaited.
In addition to the new international routes, Noida International Airport will begin operations with 25 domestic routes and two cargo services on April 17. Agreements with popular airlines like Indigo and Akasa Airlines will ensure strong domestic connectivity, linking travelers to major cities across India, including Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Srinagar, and Jaipur. This extensive network aims to position Noida Airport as a central travel hub for both domestic and international journeys.
Growing International Connectivity
The collaboration with Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines highlights Noida Airport's commitment to global connectivity. These partnerships were formed after agreements with Yamuna International Airport Pvt Ltd, with Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines seeking operational approval from IATA. Dr. Arunvir Singh, CEO of Noida International Airport Limited, confirmed these exciting partnerships, which will add Zurich, Singapore, and Dubai to the list of cities that can be reached from Noida. Lufthansa already operates 179 flights across 78 countries, and adding these new cities from Noida enhances both its and Noida's international presence.
A Historic Opening
Constructing Noida International Airport's first phase was a massive project, requiring 1,334 hectares of land from six villages, including 11.8 hectares from local farmers. To honor the contribution of these farmers, a special flight from Noida to Lucknow will be organized for them on the airport's opening day, a warm gesture recognizing their support for the airport's construction. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other officials will also join a ceremonial flight to Lucknow, marking the official opening of Noida International Airport.
A Promising Future for Noida Airport
The opening of Noida International Airport brings a promising future for air travel in India. With its well-connected network of domestic and international routes, it aims to become a major hub in Indian aviation. Its partnerships with leading airlines and strategic location highlight its potential to offer excellent connectivity options for travelers.
