In Saputara which is Gujarat's only hill station, The Gujarat Tourism Development Corporation is presenting Megh Malahar Parv 2022. This going to be a month-long festival happening till 30 August 2022, during the beautiful month of monsoon.
To attract tourists to this mega festival, The Gujarat Tourism Development Corporation has made many arrangements including cultural events, entertainment activities, and traditional festivities.
Janmashtami will be also in between the Megh Malahar Parv 2022, which will keep the tourists hooked on several arranged activities and competitions, like, Dahi handi, rain run marathon, nature treasure hunt, boat racing, etc. Also, activities like seminars, Dangi dance performances, quiz contests, and competitions like rangoli and photography will be scheduled on public holidays and weekends so that more people can participate and come to witness this event arranged by The Gujarat Tourism Development Corporation.
Saputara has been a popular tourist destination for the last two decades and gained a lot of popularity as it's a hill station, it boasts about its beauty at its best during monsoon season, with green lush trees, mesmerizing mountains surroundings the hill station and lake. Some of the major attractions in Saputara are Balasinor Dinosaur Museum, Waghai Botanical Garden, Governor Hill, and Shabri Dham.
