Residents across several parts of Bhopal are expected to face scheduled power interruptions on May 17, 2026, due to infrastructure and maintenance work being carried out by the electricity department and associated agencies. According to the schedule reviewed, power supply will remain temporarily suspended in multiple colonies, market areas and commercial zones because of activities including NHAI line shifting, metro-related construction work, pole erection and routine line maintenance.
