Indian Railways has decided to make changes to the train Santragachi-Yelahanka Weekly Special Express, a regular service to improve travel between Bengaluru and Kolkata. Earlier, this train was operated as a Train on Demand (TOD) Special with numbers 02863 and 02864. Now, it will run as a regular AC
Express train with new numbers 18063 and 18064 to make it more reliable and available on a fixed schedule for passengers.
Bengaluru-Kolkata Special Train into a Regular Service Train
Train number 18063 will leave Santragachi every Thursday at 12:50 pm, beginning from April 2. It will travel overnight and reach Yelahanka at 12:20 am on Saturday. In the return direction, train number 18064 will leave Yelahanka every Saturday at 4:50 am, starting from April 4. It will complete its journey and arrive back at Santragachi at 5:00 pm on Sunday.
